I guess you already forgot what you quoted:

Nobody ever said it was true, he was just saying how he personally felt. You're making something out of nothing here.

EVERyone knows his contract ends after his 49th fight. So Khan who is big and can help carry the gate in the U.K. could most possibly be the next opponent...
Leaving Pacman for last... or so you think.... I believe he will want that 50th win, to leave no doubt.... to break Marciano's record!!! That being said, who is the 3rd fighter to face Mayweather????
I dont see many fighters at 140, 147, 154 giving Thurman real problems. Maybe for the next 4 to 5 years. Pacman is almost done, Danny is too small for him, Cotto is too old and worn. Thurman has a clear road of dominance in his future unless he "ortiz's" it. Now Keith should be getting those big card exposure fights. He is the Future. He is the heir!!!
So IF MAYWEATHER WANTED, he could go out with a ****. Fighting the next dominator and heir to his own throne. How G.O.A.T. can you be... going out 50-0 and with that last fight beat the young Prince before he goes on to rule the division, and possibly the pound for pound rankings of the next 5 to 6 years.
      feed him to canelo...

Considering how bad his defence is it's likely he either gets stopped eventually or so worn down that he can't take punches. People ignore how he often gets cleanly hit and throws wild punches. Let him fight a top guy and then we'll see. Particularly someone who can hit hard.

I'd like to see Thurman fight Maidana, it would be a great match and finally end the "Maidana ducked Thurman" talk.

Thurman's defense has improved and whenever he does get hit, it's hardly by anything of significance. That's why in the Soto Karass fight, despite his "bad" defense, he only got caught just once and in the Diaz fight, he wasn't caught at all.

I think people are really underrating Thurman. How can you have both a "bad defense" and "suspect chin" and STILL last this long without being KO'd? It just shows that maybe those things really aren't the problem like people keep claiming.

Yeah, like Algieri has way better credentials. ..., didnt robert guerrero talk his way into a welterweight championship fight vs may??? HE SURE AS **** NEVER EARNED IT.....
Devon can only sell in st. Louis.... Maidana would be one of the biggest challenges but hes been too busy fighting floyd himself.

Thurman has some serious potential, but his signature wins are against a 9 loss Julio Diaz, a 10 loss Soto Karass, and a virtually unknown and unproven Diego Chaves.

I'll have to wait for a little bit more than that before jumping on the he's the future bandwagon.
