There is only one answer here. If you don't know it, you haven't watched the fights.
    You basically just said nothing.

      Lord knows why.

He was never a hard puncher despite stopping most of the bums he fought.

        On that list: Gatti.

Chavez beating up Haugen is a good one too

          Battered.

          For 12 rounds.

Gatti was only in there for 6... he may of taken some harder p4p shots, but it over in 24 mins.
Could have been a stoppage in the last round, pretty shocked his corner didn't throw in the towel. Didn't have the fighters best interests.

I couldn't vote. I know it's a cop out, but I can't decide between Floyd - Gatti and Calzaghe - Lacy. I guess I'll go with Calzaghe - Lacy because at the time it was an upset, and Lacy was completely ruined. I figured Floyd would whoop Gatti, but not like that though.

He was never really a big puncher. He always threw those fast shoeshine punches but mixed in hard shots which made his style annoying and awkward for fighters to deal with. He definitely threw more slappy shots in his later fights because of bad hands

I will say it was Hopkins/Pavlik.

That fight was such a shock, everyone as usual was thinking this was the fight BHop will finally get KO'd. Pavlik was a young new MW champion and he just got made a fool with. Hopkins took Pavlik's heart and the guy just wasn't the same after that.

Lacy/Calzaghe was a good one but I went with Mayweather/Gatti because on top of the beat down Mayweather tried to humiliate Gatti in front of his fans. I think that was last time Mayweather truly tried to punish someone. He had no respect for Gatti that night.
