In the article that was posted here, Haymon is trying to bring boxing back to network television so I don't see why he would have any of his top fighters fight on SHO.Comment

exactly, one or two bigger fights on nbc/nbcsports, rest on showtime, probably even better for showtime since they don't have to show the tune up fights, win win for both of them.Comment

why would haymon walk away from money ppv offers. my guess NBC will be to build guys up. Is he only revenue for NBC fights advertising and the gateComment

Tv commercials are huge business, hell make more money this way even though he's coming out of pocket, the back end will be much more than what he's doing on cable.Comment

Network TV commercials aren't the same as cable TV commercials.
Running ads on NBC Sports Network are a heck of a lot cheaper than running ones on NBC.Comment

If that was the case why aren't more big names on ESPN? Commercials only bring in money when the show gets high ratings, when it doesn't commercials are actually pretty cheap. And boxing on NBC will have less views than ESPN FNF, no way Haymon is making money paying cards of 3 million and getting like $500k if that from NBC.Comment

Haymons guys will still fight on Showtime, why wouldn't they, he basically has complete control over there almost there entire boxing budget.
And now that he has 20 dates on NBC, he can force Showtime to pay more for the guys they want!
Espinoza should 100% be fired for basically losing complete leverage to Haymon, he is the definition of a puppet.Comment
