Boxing styles you hate

I loathe Wlad Klitschko's "style." He has no defense besides cheating against anyone who tries to get within arm's reach. It's disgusting that he's allowed to get away with it.
I can never be a Hopkins fan because of the way he b*tches out against fighters that can actually beat him.
Miguel Vazquez is godawful. You can't possibly call that boxing.Comment

In some cases he is. Lara is very one dimensional and Angulo had success closing the distance and forcing him to sit down and fight. Why couldn't Canelo? So the runner isnt one dimensional being that is the only chance he has trying to avoid the fight.
How bout refusing to chase you. There is a difference between boxing and running. Movement isn't the only skill in boxing. How bout boxing and effective movement while fightin as opposed to avoiding a fight throwing one punch at a time. If you can't adjust you take the L.
You can't refuse to chase or you will end up looking like Gesta vs. Vazquez. You have to jab your way in, cut the ring off, **** to the body, etc. Get creative.
A boxer isn't going to make it easy on a guy just to make him look good. One aspect of ring generalship is to impose your style on your opponent and make him uncomfortable.Comment

I'm not talking about Canelo, i'm talking in general. Canelo is still young and has a lot to still learn. Cutting the ring off something he does need to work on, I think he should consider changing trainers in the future. Someone like Freddie Roach, or Robert Garcia would be better! In some cases he is. I completely understand ring generalship, but it's like you're asking one fighter to be more well-rounded then the other .It shouldn't be all on one fighter to make the flight is all i'm saying.
Maidana did a good job cutting off the ring against Floyd, but what good does that do if any time he gets close, you're allowed to excessively hold him get a break. Not being given the opportunity to work once you get inside. That's just an example.Comment

Excessive holding should be a warning and a point deduction. It's illegal and should not be conditional depending on the fighter. In some cases he is. Lara is very one dimensional and Angulo had success closing the distance and forcing him to sit down and fight. Why couldn't Canelo?

Excessive holding I agree with. If a fighter works his way inside the ref needs to let him fight and not put him at a disadvantage.I'm not talking about Canelo, i'm talking in general. My comments are more geared towards moving. Movers can be dealt with and there are plenty of older films on it. Instead of complaining, fighters need to get better or find new trainers that can help them get better.
At the professional level, you will see a variation of styles and you have to be prepared to deal with them all to stay at the top.Comment
