I don't like the guys who hit and hold or don't have much activity

Mayweather above 140 when he hits and holds
    Carlos Molina
    John Ruiz
    Wlad Klitschko
    Bernard Hopkins
    Andre Ward
Miguel Vazquez is just ugly to watch

And judges should not score rounds for runners who pitty-pat without ever throwing a really effective punch.
Tim Bradley would have a terrible record if that was the case, .

Agree-with the caveat that I hate boxers who lack fundamental skills like cutting off the ring.

            This.

Ward does not bother me that much, Wlad is punch and bear hug, but Molina is unwatchable.

I also don't care for the *Jab and Jog* style

LOL. At least Tim tries. He just doesnt posses natural punching power. On the other hand there's boxers who dont even try to hurt their opponent. They want to tap their way to a 12rnd decision.

I remember being disgusted by Cory Spinks style. It was horrible to watch. He would flick jabs while yelling for 12 rounds.

Cory was just ****in awful, good call. I was so pissed when he won the title and would be subjected to watching him on tv.

all styles to me are "good" if it fits the boxer's persona, physique, and prowess. What I loathe watching is adapting a style that isn't really for them...or not taking advantages of their attributes such as height, reach, weight, power, etc...

Taste as far as what is exciting is highly subjective and thus it is meaningless to really pit what one likes and dislikes. It is a matter of preferences just like anything in life.

People are just different and stereotypes come into play.

There isn't really a style that I hate, but there are things you guys mentioned that some fighters do that I don't like to see.

Hitting and holding, reaching out for a clinch (as a tactic to avoid action rather than trying to neutralise an opponents inside game), being happy with a SD/UD win and just jabbing and dancing about till the end, leaning on the opponent unnecessarily etc etc..

Reaching out and clinching really bothers me when I see a guy get away with it. It is clearly a foul to do it. On the inside yeah you are allowed to tie up and neutralise an opponents offence, which is obviously fine, but simply being in range, slipping a shot or whatever and then clinching really pisses me off.

You guys already covered some main points and I agree.

how come no one mentioned fighters with no defense? that dont move their head at all and just be there waiting to get hit in exchange for one good punch like mayorga, thats just a plain ****** style in my book .
