Bob Arum may be a POS but in this case I think he has the law on his side. All he needs to prove is that he offered Jr. legitimate fights (without contract extension) which he turned down.

Apparently he did so - Jr was offered the GGG fight without extension at a rate which would seem to be in line with his last major fight (Maravilla) despite being way below what he would have got if he'd agreed to a contract extension.

In addition there seems to be a dispute over timing - some months ago Arum was claiming Jrs contract ran on til late 2015 (extended, I think, due to his suspension - which is fairly standard), now he seems to be saying Apr 2016 for some reason.

      You're just trolling dude.

          This here.

Doesn't everyone want to see these two club each other to death? Does anybody give Jr. a good shot? They both have granite beards, Froch definitely has the stamina and better boxing skills.

Not true. All of those contracts had extensions. Go back and find the article where it didnt add fights. I think he wanted to extend it and add two more fights, and Chavez didnt want any type of extension at all.

There was one for $2m v Golovkin without an extension. That's the one Chavez felt was too low.

Its been so long you may be right. And Arum said something about, "I dont want to help build you up, give you a payday, then you leave!" Im coming down off some bud, plus its been a long time. And GGG was supposed to be one of his biggest fights so he didnt want to be paid the same he would be paid for fighting a bum.....?

                    Yall gotta refresh my memory.
