yah i agree. i've watched this fight probably around 30 times maybe close to 40 and vitali was completely domination. it's a shame about the cut, but vitali proved he was the BETTER man that night. lewis got lucky with that cut. and lewis coward ducked vitali rematch.

Lucky with the cut? By throwing punches into his face?

Sure Vitali was having the better success earlier, but Lennox was turning the fight after his slow start. He ripped his oppositions face off.

yes he got lucky that his punch opened a cut. vitali was pwning lewis hard. he lucked out with that cut. and lewis ducked the rematch because he knew he might not get that same luck again.

vitali proved he was the better man that night.

Nope, didn't happen. Lewis was unconscious on the mat, the ref had reached 9, and then Emmanuel Steward used a squirt gun to squirt blood on Vitali's face. Only a fool would deny that once they cleaned the blood away, Vitali's face was smooth as a baby, nothing wrong with it. A corrupt ref stopped the fight for no reason and Lewis never won a round or even landed a punch.

I'd take nothing away from Vitali, he was the fresher fighter on the night and threw/landed more punches. However, the last two rounds he was buckled on multiple ocassions incl. that monster uppercut that probably would have knocked out any other heavyweight in the world at that stage.

Lewis looked really tired, but after a shaky couple of opening rounds he turned it up a notch, I don't see how that can be disputed.

However, I have to ask what the point of this thread is? Because it's clear that Vitali was in no position to continue, even though he wanted to.
My point is pretty clear: people were saying this fight was close. I was WAITING for the fight to get close but it NEVER DiD. Vitali was winning handedly.

                    Is that clear?

Lmfao. FYI I've never been a fan of either Klitschko, and only became a fan of Lewis in retirement. And I'm American, with no racial agenda.

So this is about as unbiased of an assessment as you will recieve. Fan boys can't handle that, I see.
