I honestly believe this new Haymon business model will save boxing. I have to give him kudos for taking the risk. haymon can't NBC the same way he has robbed HBO/Showtime.Last edited by DoktorSleepless; 10-02-2014, 10:40 AM.

If this deal works and AL gives us the fights we want to see in his stable-great. If NBC does what HBO/SHO do-give newly signed fighters squashes in the 1st fight on their network-then this is going to suck for the 1st 3-6 months and I will lose complete interest.
It would be interesting if NBC had Floyd v khan or danny on free tv from the MGM on May 5th weekend.

Al Haymon is trying to save boxing.
Yeah, what boxing really needs is matchups like Santa Cruz-Roman, Garcia-Salka, Matthysse-Ortiz, Peterson-Santana to broadcast to an even greater, wider audience - that'll really highlight the sport in a positive light.

But hey, Floyd did that to himself.
