Here are some sources and quotes:

"health is more important than anything," mayweather said. "because guess what? When my career is over, if i'm hurt because of something that has happened in a fight, i can't come to you and say, 'i need (money).' "

“with or without manny pacquiao, floyd mayweather is okay. Floyd mayweather fights for floyd mayweather. At the end of the day, floyd mayweather has to be happy and comfortable…look at the ali situation. Fans pushed him to get into fights at the end of his career that he didn’t want to get in…if ali could trade it all in for his health, he would.”

"this is how this world is, writers are saying, 'floyd is scared,' " mayweather said. "no, floyd cares about his family. Floyd is smart. At the end of the day, floyd is smart. My health is important. My health is more important than money. They can take all the money and my health is more important. If they say, 'floyd, you can live a healthy life like you is right now, or you got to walk with a limp, and walk all bent over, but you can have a lot of money for the rest of your life,' i'd say, 'take it all back.

“i just want an even playing field,” said mayweather, when asked about the gloves. “he has so many knockouts, but those types of gloves (everlast mx) have no padding"
manny's health should have come first, right?

Deevel has no credibility. He already exposed himself as a racist in another thread. His agenda is clear and obvious.

The keys to professional boxing are simply to make as much money as you can and leaving the sport with your mind still intact.

How many of you know, first hand, the dangers that are faced in the professional ring?

If you don't know than you are probably one of the ones *****ing in this thread with blind assumptions and statements.

Boxing is the realest sport out there. In this game it's not always just about what you gain, it's also about what you lose that can never be replaced.

Interesting breakdown of Floyd’s situation. It really shows how careful attention to health and training can impact performance, both in boxing and in other areas of life. It reminds me a lot of the approach used in NDIS Skills Development and Training, where structured support and skill-building are key to achieving long-term goals safely and effectively.

Probably for the same reason you've never stopped talking about it in the same repetitive way for the past 16 years.

Look at Covergirl, the worn out trash metal groupie sniffing around for attention
16 years worth, by her own calculations

                      No "probably" about it
