Here are some sources and quotes:

"health is more important than anything," mayweather said. "because guess what? When my career is over, if i'm hurt because of something that has happened in a fight, i can't come to you and say, 'i need (money).' "

“with or without manny pacquiao, floyd mayweather is okay. Floyd mayweather fights for floyd mayweather. At the end of the day, floyd mayweather has to be happy and comfortable…look at the ali situation. Fans pushed him to get into fights at the end of his career that he didn’t want to get in…if ali could trade it all in for his health, he would.”

"this is how this world is, writers are saying, 'floyd is scared,' " mayweather said. "no, floyd cares about his family. Floyd is smart. At the end of the day, floyd is smart. My health is important. My health is more important than money. They can take all the money and my health is more important. If they say, 'floyd, you can live a healthy life like you is right now, or you got to walk with a limp, and walk all bent over, but you can have a lot of money for the rest of your life,' i'd say, 'take it all back.

“i just want an even playing field,” said mayweather, when asked about the gloves. “he has so many knockouts, but those types of gloves (everlast mx) have no padding"

Some fighters dont mind getting hit. Some do. The ones that do are usually more defensive minded fighters than the ones that dont. Floyd is a defensive fighter. If he feels his skills can not protect him in the ring then why continue fighting? If he's confident in his skills then he should not worry about which fighters might "hurt him"
      are u serious????????

After all the testing demands were agreed to, and even a smaller % for PAC, he just threw up other roadblocks (must sign to Mayweather promotions). It is pretty obvious to most boxing fans what is going on here...

The thing is, Floyd is now backing himself into a corner by saying every other contender has [ ] problems... He will soon have no choice but to fight PAC or retire.
I explained how bad you kids take that quote of of context and the rest of your bolded post is related to the 2nd quote from the TS.

Dont you remember, fight Pac cause testing is for cowards

I just don't see this fight happening, unfortunately. Let me tell you, things are gonna be pretty bleak around here after the Algieri fight. I do think Pacquiao needs an early KO. And even if he does, no one's gonna see it cuz few are gonna pay. Hopefully Manny isn't as dumb as his minions here and recognizes that he's lost a lot of his bargaining power. Bet those last two deals look awfully sweet now.

No. He said that he would let Floyd be the LEAD promoter. Not that he's going to let Floyd promote it by himself.
