Disecting Floyd's "health comes first" statements.

understandable but floyd seems overly concerned about it. More so than any other boxer i can think of.
Some fighters dont mind getting hit. Some do. The ones that do are usually more defensive minded fighters than the ones that dont. Floyd is a defensive fighter. If he feels his skills can not protect him in the ring then why continue fighting? If he's confident in his skills then he should not worry about which fighters might "hurt him"Comment

He only started this "health first" and "cleaning up the sport of boxing" BS after everyone called him out to fight Manny. He was obviously trying to insinuate PAC was on PEDs to discredit his wins, which were far more impressive than his own wins against the same guys (Oscar, Hatton, Cotto, etc.)
After all the testing demands were agreed to, and even a smaller % for PAC, he just threw up other roadblocks (must sign to Mayweather promotions). It is pretty obvious to most boxing fans what is going on here...
The thing is, Floyd is now backing himself into a corner by saying every other contender has [ ] problems... He will soon have no choice but to fight PAC or retire.
Dont you remember, fight Pac cause testing is for cowardsComment

I just don't see this fight happening, unfortunately. Let me tell you, things are gonna be pretty bleak around here after the Algieri fight. I do think Pacquiao needs an early KO. And even if he does, no one's gonna see it cuz few are gonna pay. Hopefully Manny isn't as dumb as his minions here and recognizes that he's lost a lot of his bargaining power. Bet those last two deals look awfully sweet now.Comment
