Floyd is a ''Stylistic Cherry Picker'' who believes that?

Just have a look at some of his last opponents, Cotto,Ortiz,Guerrero,Canelo,Maidana,Maidana2 tho all are respectable fighters but 1 thing is common on all of them, they all lack lateral movement and speed and are flat footed.

Last time Mayweather fought a fast fighter was Zab Judah and in that fight he lost first 4 rounds and his 'gloves touched the canvas' after that he's not been in the ring with anyone fast or someone who could move.

''Plodders after Plodders after Plodders'', cmon now?

That makes me wonder if Mayweather is a 'Stylistic' CherryPicker, he only fights guys with 'Styles' that suit him.

Even before Zab Judah I couldn't find anyone fast on his resume. He fought Mosley but he was like 39 wayyy past his prime and wasn't known for anything substantial. Oscar was wayyy past his prime too and Floyd only managed a split decision win.

I just couldn't find any 'Stylistic Variation' on his resume, could you?

Can anyone name just 3 fast fighters with movement from Mayweather's resume? Thanks.!

you are right. but most fighters cherry pick style matchups. for example

    pacquiao-magarito,past prime Oscar,past prime mosley,diaz,clottey,rios
    Hopkins-murat,cloud,shemonov,pavlik,past prime roy

Garcia is better than Thurman and Bradley.

Bradley might have a little speed but he's sloppy as hell and uncoordinated. Mayweather would MURDER a guy like Bradley. As a Mayweather fan, I wish he'd fight Bradley next just to put on a show.

Mayweather has been fighting RUGGED, STEEL CHINNED fighters with decent power for a while now. I'd LOVE to see him scale back and face one of these "faster" guys like Thurman or Bradley.

Mayweather would look as dominant as he did against GATTI.

I even said the green Canelo fight was BS because he was fighting him before he was ready. Canelo should have been his 5th or last fight if he never musters up the courage to show up for Pacquiao.

He likes fighting slow fighters, who can't cope with his movement so that he could ''dance'' around them all night.
That's where you're mistaken (again). Floyd doesn't DANCE around these guys. He stands right in front of them and uses his superior instincts and acumen to beat them.

Floyd chose to take the 12th round off against Maidana because the fight was in the bag. Surely this is not your first time seeing a boxer do this.

Canelo may not be fast but name a fast fighter that beats him? Boxing is not all about speed. It's about speed, accuracy, IQ and toughness.

Canelo is better than any fighter (not named Pacquiao) that you can claim Floyd hasn't fought.

LOL @ guys like Tim Bradley and Thurman even posing a marginal threat to Floyd. SMH. You guys don't pay attention to detail. Period.

Maybe FLoyd should call out Rigo, Lamont Peterson and Yurk Gamboa.

Maybe those are the speedsters that would finally earn Floyd the respect of his haters.

              LOL

Styles make fights and Danny would be right there to be hit. Despite his nickname "swift" he's far from.

Thurman, Khan, Pac all give Floyd more problems than Garcia.

You're right about Bradley. He's too sloppy and wide. Floyd would have a field day picking him off.

Boxing acumen and superior instincts? You mean clinch clinch and more clinching and pay Bayless off so that he can hold and hold and break Maidana off when he has a free hand? You gotta be kidding....only Floyd fans can turn a blind eye to those shenanigans. Those are not the tactics of an ATG.

If any of you have played Street Fighter...it's like being thrown every time you get close to your opponent. Super cheesy.

If Swift is so easy to hit then why didn't the heavily favored Matthyse do any damage to him in 12 rounds of action?

I'm not so sure Khan see 12 rounds with Matthyse. And I understand styles make fights but what's so troublesome about Thurman's style?

He hits hard. Ok. Floyd has fought tons of those guys. Thurman does not dance around the ring all night long. He likes to trade blows and would get picked off by Mayweather, imo...

I don't see how he troubles Mayweather anymore than Canelo. Ppl act like Canelo fights like Baldomir or something. SMH

Oh so that's why Floyd is 48-0? Because he's a CLINCH master that pays black refs off?

Got it. Thanks for the schooling.
