I loveeeeee the hypocritical hype of Thurman, I like Thurman too but come on his resume isn't all that glorious to go out on a limb and say he beats anyone on a top tier outright just yet. The kid can punch but we've not really seen him handle being in the danger zone just yet. Give that man time and a few fights with A talents before we start the hype train on overdrive.

Who have either of these guys beat to make anyone think they'd beat Pacquiao or Mayweather?

It's mind-boggling to me why they can't make Thurman fight Alexander. I know it won't be the most exciting fight of any year, but we'll at least see where Thurman is at.

Why is the media not digging deeper into this? What tf are they doing? What if Alexander is no longer available, who is there for Thurman who don't have these ducking issues? It's very frustrating.

Thurman is a good fighter but hasn't really fought anybody and people tend to overrate "big punchers" when they coming up

Khan gets knocked out by both i would like to him fight somebody like Broner

He was also available in May 2012, and then he found out that Floyd wouldn't be going to jail until June. He then got his eye re-evaluated and couldn't be available until June. And just incase Floyd was to get that date pushed back he and Bob decided they were going to have to build a special arena for a Floyd vs Pac fight.

So before you say Pac is available in May, you might want to check with him first.

Thurman is good and has some serious potential -- but what is his career defining win so far? A 10 loss Soto Karass? Diego Chaves? A 9 loss Julio Diaz? Beat somebody worth mentioning and maybe we can talk about him knocking off an even past his prime Manny Pacquiao or Floyd Mayweather. And while Khan is an interesting opponent for anyone because of his hand speed, he has just shown too many times that when the heat gets turned up, he often finds himself in serious trouble. We throw around the life & death phrase a little too often around here -- but he really did go absolute life & death with frigging Julio Diaz. A near retired Julio Diaz at that. That was what, two fights ago for Khan? And he's supposed to beat Manny or Floyd?

But anyway we all know that Paulette has some serious, deep rooted hatred for Manny Pacquiao. Him calling for Khan and/or Thurman to beat him is no surprise. He'd probably give Salka a 50/50 shot to beat Manny. The bigger surprise is that he said that both Khan and Thurman have "better than average" shots at beating Mayweather.
