Algieri would give Floydie all he could handle and would likely win. Floydie hates fast fighters with a good solid jab. HATES it. Pac knows it's a challenge. Difference is he embraces a challenge. Floydie runs from them constantly.

      Spot on non-biased by Naazim...

Pac & May are BOTH going down as the 2 best fighters of this era. They both would have taken "L"s in the 80s & 90's. It is possible to give both fighters props without dissing the other. I think Mayweather will try to finish his 2 showtime fights & fight a shopworn Manny aiming for his 50th win. I do believe he's waiting for Pacman to decline even more...just my opinion.

But I don't agree both have given to the sport. One has. Pac is a good humble guy who helps anyone he can, is very intelligent, is a congressman, takes on tough challenges (no matter what fans say - Algeiri is taller and has a great jab and speed, and would be a test for Floydie too), and he has given alot to the sport. Floydie has done little more than milk the sport for any and everything he can get out of it, has a pathetic narcissistic attitude, huge ego, is a misogynist, and is extremely ignorant outside the ring. No comparison between the two in terms of what they've given to boxing.
It's arguable that Mayweather is keeping the sport of boxing alive. Crickets are far more interested in a Pacquiao/Algieri fight than actual boxing fans. If you listen closely you can hear the chirping at the mention of the fight coming up in Macau.

Grupies are casual boxing fans. They are blind because they can't see beyond their races and nationalities.

I think with Floyd's decline, it's maybe the first time I see the fight as close. When both were in their prime, I didn't give Pac much of a chance.

That PAC scared the crap outta lil Floyd. He's still shook too.

Pacquiao wins easily. A more competitive fight for Pac is Algeiri

I have no doubt that Algeiri beats Floyd, Maidana and Rios fairly easily
This is equivalent to saying Floyd dominated Marquez so he dominates Pacquiao because Pacquiao couldn't convincingly beat Marquez. Rios is not as good as Maidana so lets stop it.

a 145 LB Cotto busted Manny's ear drum and had him wrapped like a mummy after the fight. 154 Cotto gave Mayweather a bloody nose.
