Obviously cloud is not an elite fighter. But hes very durable, and certainly a potential bananna skin for your 6th fight. Hes mixed with high opposition. So to destroy him in 2 rounds and kncok him down 3 times in the first is nothing less than impressive...

as a ward fan, would beterbiev's inside game worry you? he wouldn't be as easy to frustrate as a kovalev or golovkin would be.

worry me as a man / poster? i'm not some nine year old boy. i play the part of an andre ward fanboy on bscene because it's amusing to see people react to it. he's the perfect fighter for me to use to pick fights with virtually everybody on the forum. i'm just looking for a fair fight. me against all of you is usually pretty even.


the only thing that beterbiev's got that would / might trouble andre ward is the size. he's gigantic, which obviously impacts his abiltity to hurt guys with his power.


he's boxed 13 rounds as a pro. 13 of them. tavoris cloud is the best guy he's fought. cloud, coming off of two losses and a one year layoff, is the only guy beterbiev fought with a winning record.


if he and ward fought tomorrow, ward would make him look like the amateur he is. in several years, things will be different. until then, vegas would have hte prince as a heavy, heavy favorite; and for good reason.

Beterbiew has a verry good inside game. A fight against Ward would be interesting but of course Beterbiew has to prove himself more by facing different styles of fighters on decent level. Now he should fight guys like Campillo, Agnew for example. He just had 6 fights yet. After two-three more fights he should be ready for his first title-shot.
