canelo accepted the fight just to buy the judges. Im not happy with lara on this fight. I expected more a fight against angulo, but apart from that lara won. Canelo was slow and lost most of the rounds. There is not any particular advantage for canelo kust for being a protected cinderella. If he lost more rounds he shouldnt won. And remember, lara had to come to canelo because he was avoiding him, but at the end they made a plan with the judges. Bunch of dirty cowardsYou keep talking out of your arse. No one is a coward!
For Months you kept saying Canelo was a coward because he wouldn't fight Lara.
Well he fought, him and in that fight you got a clear example as to why no one wants to fight boring fighters. Lara ran the whole fight, making it one of the most boring PPV's. He had an opportunity in a huge stage to make a name for himself. To go after Canelo and win or lose at the very least put on a show, and instead he laid a huge egg. What network do you think is going to want to put Lara in a main event again?
I tell you all the time but you don't listen. IT doesn't matter if they're Cuban, or any other nationality. If you don't sell people aren't going to line up to want to fight you. Look at Mexican boxer Miguel Vasquez. He got robbed in his boring a$$ fight against Bey and no one gives two $h!ts about it.Comment

Gary Hyde is on some funky drugs if he thinks that's going to work out.
He needs to develop a fanbase if he wants some decent opposition. Nobody decent is fighting somneone as good as him for peanuts when other easier more marketable opposition are available.Comment

again, you dont heard ne when i said cubans dont sell due to promoters. For instance, arum, gb are blocking rigo because they dont want to loose more fighters with rigo line happened with nonito. Do you think that make a fake fighter like lsc or nonito that you and so many think they are great is cheap?. The promoters heard about rigo and everybody run awayYou keep talking out of your arse. Cuban fighters having promotional issues is not any one else problem. I have a hard time believing that Arum didn't want Rigo to be successful, especially when he had everything to gain from having Rigo become a superstar. I have a hard time thinking Bob would purposely want one of the fighters he promotes to fail.again, you dont heard ne when i said cubans dont sell due to promoters. You and more importantly Rigo, Lara, Abril and others need to understand that professional boxing, again PROFESSIONAL boxing is very different from olympic boxing. Here you have to entertain. If you do, then win or lose you get opportunities. When you approach fights the way Lara approached Canelo, or the way Rigo approaches all his fights, without care for what the fans want, then no one is going to want to see you fight.
You keep whining about how Cuban fighters only have 2 million people here and can't get enough support. But tell me exactly how is it that fighters like GGG sell out, and get huge ratings on HBO? I can't imagine it's because of the huge Kazakh-American population? So I would think it has to be his style!Comment

jrod, even when we in opposite opinions i can recognize you are an educated man and you should know about ethics. I cant understand why you say you cant believe my position about arum against rigo when arum said a lot of bad things of rigo. Lets assume aruns whats right, is unethical and showed his bad position about rigo. He didnt forgave rigo after nonito and also because rigo said to him all the truth. Rigo had to ask for the fight with nonito because arum was hidding him.Cuban fighters having promotional issues is not any one else problem. !
Rigo is a perfect example of a fighter against promoters. Now gb is doing ehatever necesary for hide lsc from him. I hope you may have the capacity to understand my point. Is a disgrace hiw those promoters and fighter are doingComment

An also Mr Jrod if you say that only the fights are made by entertain strictly. Whay of entertained had the last fight of LSC for instance?. What about entertained had the Mares and Juanma fight?. For me has nothing entertained a fight with a fighter who has cero possibilities to win the other.Cuban fighters having promotional issues is not any one else problem. You as an educated person need to understand that Arum wasn't against Rigo. Arum as a successful boxing promoter for over 30 years would have everything to gain by having a p4p elite fighter in his stable. THe reason he bad mouth him was because he wanted to finally get Rigo's attention. He wanted to get it through his thick skull that when he got him a fight, he needed to put on a show. It didn't matter to Bob whether Rigo won or lost, all that mattered was that he go out an entertain. But Rigo, who is pretty stubborn refused to listen.jrod, even when we in opposite opinions i can recognize you are an educated man and you should know about ethics. I refer to you again to the night before the Agbeko fight. Arum was in Rigo's lockerroom and specifically told him, "Rigo you have to go out an put on a show" Now I understand Agbeko wasn't a willing partner, and didn't help Rigo much in that situation, but Rigo could have at least put on some kind of show. He could have easily stepped on the gas, and actually take some risk in that fight. Instead he was satisfied with throwing 500 jabs in that fight, and cruising to a 12 round boring decision.
He didn't care how he looked in that fight and ignored the suggestions of the guy [Arum] trying to get him fights. The guy trying to convince the networks to broadcast you and the guy trying to get you paid. Now, we can see he is suffering the consequences of that. He can't even get the Avalos of the boxing world to fight him, how is he going to get the Quiggs, and Framptons to fight him?
And please spare me the ridiculous excuse that Rigo's management had said 1 week before the fight that they wanted a new opponent because Agbeko wasn't feeling good or wasn't up to par.Last edited by JJRod; 09-27-2014, 08:01 PM.Comment

jaja. Allow me to smile. Arum said that after a Rigo's masterpiece performance aginst Nonito, who btw, was the one running in round 12. Agbeko fight the Caribe promoter sent a letter to Arum saying the concern having 2 defensive fighters and actually Agbeko thrown any punch. You as an educated person need to understand that Arum wasn't against Rigo. And as I said and you didn't get it, even assuming Arum is right about his opinion concerning Rigo, is unethical that a promoter say something like this. I hoped you knew about ethics, but certainly you don't.Comment
