I doubt Quigg would take the fight, especially with the Frampton showdown roaming around the corner. If they do manage to get Quigg to come out and challenge Rigo for his belts, I seriously doubt he will take the fight for the peanut shells and lint Caribe Promotions bids for.

Fight won't happen. Here is the way I see things going down in this division.

Frampton is going to fight Avalos, and Quigg will probably fight Kiko Martinez or someone like Cristian Mijares.
Once Frampton beats Avalos (a Mexican American) then they'll set up a fight between Frampton and Santa Cruz.

Now you have made a win win here. If Frampton wins, he fights Quigg in a massive fight in the UK. If he loses, there is still going to be interest in a fight with Quigg, and Quigg also has the option of fighting Santa Cruz.

You could also throw Mares name in there.

Historically, it's been almost impossible for WBA Champs to get the WBA to force Super WBA champs to face them, or vice versa. WBA created the separates belts specifically to protect fighters. Unless the two fighters want to face each other, WBA doesn't push the issue.

Trout originally couldn't get the WBA to force a Cotto fight, and instead gave them their own separate mandatories. Celestino Caballero wrote multiple letters trying to get the WBA to force Chris John to face him, but the WBA refused. And obviously Golovkin could never get Sturm.

The only thing Rigo can do now is let the kids play and wait. I think they can't avoid him forever. But it's pathetic. He has 2 belts and nobody wants to challenge him. I don't want to hear anyomore from Frampton, LSC or Quigg that they call themselves the best of the division.
