no, when the thurman fight was offered to chino's team he was coming down from 154 lbs. what i mean is that i wanna see him in the same situation chino was after the alexander fight, beaten awfully and being tried to match against a bigger guy. (that was maidana first fight at 147 lbs, terrible debut) just to hear what his fans has to say about.

He was not coming down from 154, he has never weighed above 152. Thurman isn't a big welterweight, Maidana walks around heavier than him and weighs more on fight nights.

Btw the guy he fought instead of Thurman, Karass, weighed in 151 prior to fighting Maidana. Karass is bigger than Thurman...

If alexander won the fight, why would he fight an up and coming prospect? Makes no sense and it makes more sense fighting against maidana, who lost. How is thurman no different? He didn't beat 3 nobodies and broner and then magically land the mayweather fight. Maidana is with al haymon too numnuts
