And to the guy who said Maidana didn't fight him because he was a nobody, who was Maidana before he beat Broner? Just a guy who lost to every good fighter he faced.
People are delusional.JMM has been knocked down more times then I could even count, does that make him a glass jaw bum too?
Maidanas the guy that was the sacrificial lamb for victor Ortiz made Ortiz second guess his career path. That's how maidana made his name.Beating broner just gave him more exposure. You must've just started watching boxing.

Oh and Thurman was stunned by zaveck, hurt by jsk. Like Paulie said, zaveck was a punching bag so its fair to say that Thurman was stunned by a punching bag.

When did Thurman become this P.Will figure that no one wants to fight.

Having said that hes nowhere is even near the risk fact the P.Wills poised at his height of a being a feared fighter fantasy fighter.

        Bad examples.........

Canelo was drained and didn't have the energy to attack Floyd or else he would've. You see how much energy and explosiveness he had in his very next fight, right? If they fight again, without a catch-weight, Canelo hurts Floyd. As for RG, he's not a good boxer. He's a flat-footed fighter. Good hand-speed, tough, and has good stamina BUT he isn't what I would call a "good" boxer. He always comes forward and that's not what a boxer does. Thurman is a style nightmare for an aging fighter in the same way that Chris Algeri is. If Manny is old come November, he will lose that fight. No worries though, he is looking GOOD right now and is going to kick CA's ass! But you get my point.

Long enough to know that MAIDANA made Ortiz quit.

Who hasn't made him quit? Haha...
So we agree Maidana only wins are over a guy who quit multiple times in fights and never panned out and a overhyped 135 lb fighter..gotcha...

Maidana was the first. So let me get this straight youre downplaying maidanas win over ortiz but hyping up ortiz as being good enought to fight floyd.what the fu ck? The only thing missing is for you to tell me that floyds ko of ortiz was legit.

Whereas Floyd always gets so much credit for oblitering Canelo, where Mayweather landed nothing hard. Didn't hurt him at all, hit the gloves a lot. Ran around a lot. Even missed a lot of punches. The view of what Mayweather does is very skewed IMO. He didn't dominate Canelo the way that is generally portrayed and he didn't dominate Maidana the way that is portrayed.

The judges and fans tend to give Mayweather every benefit of the doubt in scoring. That is the only reason why he is perceived to be dominating everyone. If the fight were scored fairly, Thurman would have a chance to win. Mayweather cannot hurt him whereas Thurman's punch is much stronger. Thurman would be more active and throw combinations, whereas Mayweather is more likely to throw that lead right, left jab, check hook, one punch at a time. But if Floyd were to remain upright at the end, which is a good possibly. His legion of yesmen will again state he dominated.
                  this is true

This has nothing to do with Floyd. I can't stand him. At this point I don't even know what it's about lol...

Like I said before in another thread, Thurman has youth and that could pose a major problem for an opponent approaching his fifth decade (especially when they're as vulnerable as Floyd at this). Thurman is not flat-footed, nor does he appear to have the stamina problems that darn near all of Floyd's previous opponents have. I also think he has more power than Maidana.

I think the only thing Floyd has for him is experience and that's mainly in a boxing match but if he still got caught in both fights by somebody like Maidana, then there's a highly good chance that Thurman (who has better handspeed) would catch him too and he'll get rocked for sure.
