Coz when they are in HBO, numbers are good! They know how to price their cash cows! Numbers of floyd on HBO are huge compare to floyds numbers in Showtime and HBO did not pay Floyd as big as Sho paying floyd right now... ITS COMMON SENSE, i guess floydiots dont have those! lolKeep in mind, HBO offered Mayweather a similar deal. It wasn't as much as Showtime's offer, but the offer was close, HUGE, and unprecedented. Also, Pacquaio has a HUGE deal with HBO too. No one talks about it though, and Top Rank has kept it hush.
When HBO had the two biggest cash cows in boxing, paying them HUGE amounts of money, I didn't hear you guys complaining about how HBO is going to go broke.Comment

I made a what 10 word troll comment and you're in here defending a massive corporation over it. It's apparent you care about it more than me, why is that exactly?Comment

Yes. It'll be something like... take $5 million a fight guaranteed or good luck with ESPN, because Showtime isn't resigning Floyd I can promise you that. He has two fights left, if they had been making a decent profit they would have signed an extension already.Comment

your concentrating on past pvp. pvp also depends on the circumstances and the drama created. how about "the fight between the two greatest boxer in this generation" or "the day floyd meet his match" can you really create those drama or scenarios with other boxer other than pac. only pac can create those scenarios that will boost pvp up to +2.5mComment

I'm focused on reality. Stop acting like Mayweather needs Pacquiao because that's the only way he'll get 2.5m buys when Pacquiao needs Mayweather just to hit 1.5. Mayweather's done that what, four times? Who needs who? But Manny should not offer fair compensation to a guy (Marquez) who has 1 draw and 1 KO in 4 fights with him? Manny better go get some of the dance partners Floyd has been getting. According to you and so many others here, he should be able to do the same or better. Guererro, Canelo, and Maidana are all available, and looking for dance partners right now:

Although the documents do not disclose revenue also generated from pay-per-view upside, it's extremely doubtful that Pacquiao is getting significantly more than Mayweather in that department, especially considering that they both do similar numbers and in Pacquiao's case, Top Rank retains 27.5%. While I personally believe the subject of a 50/50 split is irrelevant, mainly because Bob Arum was never interested in staging the fight on May 5 to begin with, given those numbers, it's understandable why Mayweather might allegedly inform Pacquiao that a $40 million guarantee would be significantly more money than he's been currently making.
