Rakhim gassed,hard.the criticism is a little unfair,before he fought Diablo he was averaging 2-3 rounds against poor opposition,since his loss he has been putting in 9-10 rounds in against guys he should have been facing before a title shot,poor handling just like the Price kid and that other muppet Wilder.

Rakhim is now WBC no.1 again after hard fought victories,his last fight was against one of the top competitors in the division without a belt not many are eager to face,he not only outboxed him but thoroughly beat him up.

Had Rakhim faced Diablo tonight he would have stopped him and his pathetic workrate.

This is bad news for Rakhim,his manager,handler and financier said this week they have no intentions of matching Drozd,Lebedev or Chakhkiev against each other in the foreseeable ! Absolutely gutted Drozd grabbed the belt before him,but that performance was limp bordering on the abject.

No, he wouldn't. Drozd has good footwork, he fought very smart. He clinched, he moved, he jabbed. This is why he beat Wlod.

Chakhiev is a Mike Tyson wannabe with even poorer stamina than Mike's and even weaker chin.

Yeah Palacios should've won the first fight but he shot himself in the foot and acted like the home fighter, never pressing the issue. Diablo landed his power late in the rematch and hurt Palacios, rightly getting the win. Is it just luck or does Diablo actually deserve some credit for making his power count late in fights?

Are you serious right now? You can't slam Diablo and be so overly negative towards the fight in general, yet still act like Chakhkiev is all that. Diablo knocked him out legit.

I'm disappointed in Diablo's performance and frustrated by negative criticism towards Chakhkiev for what appears no apparent reason.I genuinely wanted to see Diablo rematch Rakhim,but to see a guy land six punches average per round after being behind nearly the entire fight I believe he wouldn't stand a chance against a reinvented Chakhkiev.

Fact is Chakhkiev is a different fighter to what he was four fights ago,he has 12 round conditiong now,pacing etc,everything he should have had going in against a world class boxer like Diablo.

There wouldn't any negativity if it weren't for the usual suspect being overly dramatic. I like Chakhkiev, I was simply being fair.

As far as Diablo tonight, his output has always been extremely low against movers. Drozd moved, boxed and landed power. The performance was more what Drozd did as opposed to Diablo being a different fighter than vs Chakhkiev. Same Diablo, different opponent.

Nowhere did I say Chakhkiev can't improve, I simply asked a question. However, he would need to fight at a proper pace or he gets stopped by Diablo again. If he has been developing and gaining experience, then that's a different story and only time will tell.
