He often fights like this tbf only his power usually bails him out. Credit to Drozd he fought a great fight but Diablo was pitiful and fought with zero urgency and can not adjust to save his life.

What does that make Chakhkiev then? Christ... Diablo has always been the same.. slow and inactive but tough, with basic skills, savviness and carries power late into a fight. He landed some sick power in the 10th that would've folded many fighters, but tonight he was in with the better man.

Drozd looked really good. I'm unfamiliar with the CW division, but he moves pretty well compared to some of the other CWs that I've watched. The only thing I'd like to see from him next time is less clinching.

Rakhim gassed, hard.the criticism is a little unfair, before he fought Diablo he was averaging 2-3 rounds against poor opposition, since his loss he has been putting in 9-10 rounds in against guys he should have been facing before a title shot, poor handling just like the Price kid and that other muppet Wilder.

Rakhim is now WBC no.1 again after hard fought victories, his last fight was against one of the top competitors in the division without a belt not many are eager to face,he not only outboxed him but thoroughly beat him up.

Had Rakhim faced Diablo tonight he would have stopped him and his pathetic workrate.

This is bad news for Rakhim, his manager, handler and financier said this week they have no intentions of matching Drozd,Lebedev or Chakhkiev against each other in the foreseeable ! Absolutely gutted Drozd grabbed the belt before him,but that performance was limp bordering on the abject.

He clinched probably because his stamina isn't great. I only felt it was excessive for 2 rounds, which isn't bad and didn't spoil the fight. But yeah, his hands and agility are really good.

Has this turned into jump on Chakhkiev night tonight ? It is hardly like the long awaited crash of GGG so everyone can jump on his peculiar fans,it isn't as though Chakhkiev has been built up to be somehting he is not,and he has about two fans on this site,Dan being one of them.wow great he carries an awesome signature with him in,does this offend some of you guys or has Dan just caused you some butthurt elsewhere along the way ?

Are you serious right now? You can't slam Diablo and be so overly negative towards the fight in general, yet still act like Chakhkiev is all that. Diablo knocked him out legit.

Wlods a big ass puncher but its never a good look losing to somebody frankly as limited and as awful as Diablo is. The guy sucks he has nothing outside of power and durability but sometimes that is all you need. That is boxing for ya.

Yeah, a guy who has amassed nearly 50 wins sucks. He's basic but has power and the experience to land it and win most of the time. Most fighters could only wish they ****** that bad.
