am starting to think these caribe promotion guys are some sort of mafia or something why is rigo so loyal or scared to leave them, they are destroying a great fighter and rigo is getting old too, time is running out.

If you are in any sport and you are scared of facing the best , you better kill himself .

What would baseball be if boston wouldn't want to face the Yankees ?
What would basketball be if San Antonio wouldn't want o face the heat ?
What would soccer be if Brazil wouldn't wan to face Germany ?
Just because they are scared of losing ?

The saddest part is the fan supporting this kind of attitude , the fans watching and supporting duckers cause they are scared too of seeing them lose .

If someone feels like that , you better stop living , watching sports .

Hit and not be hit ; face your fears : they are imaginary .

As far as am concerned that title is phony if the holder is scared to fight rigo, hes basically holding that belt hostage we all know who's the rightful owner.

Terrible analogies. Baseball, basketball, and soccer games happen all the time. If Boston loses to the Yankees they'll still get to play next week. The players have already been paid.

I'm sorry you have such a criminally poor understanding of how boxing works.

Rigo has become the Shao Kahn of his division. All the other relevant fighters are going to have a tourney and the winner will most likely fight Rigo.

Apples and oranges my friend. It's not the same thing to hit a ball than to get hit in the face with a fist. It's a bussines. He'll make more $ fighting Frampton. Like someone here said "some fighters are not concerned neither becoming a great they're just looking to feed they're families".

I believe they will both avoid the fight as well. Servania is still being built by ALA Promotions and I seriously doubt they would throw one of their most promising fighters on their stable straight to the slaughterhouse.

Magdaleno is promoted by Top Rank and we all know how much Bob Arum loves doing business with Rigo.

Honestly, this situations is stomach turning. From being the highest paid Super Bantamweight in the sport to having to practically plead for a defense is shocking. It just goes to show the poor management Rigo has had in his career...

If Stevenson going to SHO to fight Hopkins instead of Kovalev is a duck, then this is the definition of a duck.

                    More money doe.
What do you mean "more money doe"? As if it isn't more money? Or that money should be irrelevant in a fighter's decision making process?

The fact of the matter is that Frampton is a higher paying fight and he's still taking on a world class fighter, a world champion at that.

Stevenson took on Forfarna "for far less" money than he would have got to fight Kovalev. And I don't see the Hopkins fight happening. So I fail to see the comparison here.

Frampton won the world title less than a month ago and you're claiming he's holding the belt hostage?
