Uhhh dude I don't think Dirk cares one way or the other about whether Avalos fights Rigo or Frampton. The idea that Avalos has a bunch of fans here defending his move to not fight Rigo is pretty funny; I've never even heard of him outside of this situation and I haven't seen anyone else claim to be a follower of him either.

"Fight easier opponents for more money" is good logic if you're the fighter stepping into the ring. The entire business of boxing is about taking calculated risks both in the short-term and long-term.

Rigondeaux is the lineal champ at junior featherweight. He is also one the 5-10 best fighters in the world. Choosing to fight a beltholder at junior featherweight instead of one of the best fighters in the world is a duck.
