I'm not going to say that it's terrible news because frankly the fights shown on ShoBox in the recent past have been nothing but shameless mismatches that seem to be made to simply showcase and pad the record of prospects. However anytime there's less boxing on tv it's not good for the sport, so I hope that even though ShoBox has been dropped, it gets replaced by something better with more competitive match making and meaningful fights.

Well this sucks. It hasn't been that good lately but I've always liked SHOBox, it kept me going and I'm one of the people who likes watching prospects regardless. That said, making it the home of JLeon love and Badou Jack was pissing me off though

I dont get how none of you can see this is hurting us the fans.

We will be down to 1 fight per month on 1 channel and then you all will complain about that but go on thinking this is a good thing
          So who that fault is?

Showtime put their whole investment entirely on Haymon fighters specially Floyd and you *****'s embraced it as god's plan for boxing. You people should kill each pther for ruining boxing!

Looking at this from a viewers perspective this looks bad. Looking at it from a boxer's perspective this is even worse, young prospects won't get more exposure. Think about what impact this may have on the younger generation of boxers.

This is bad for the sport but I knew this was coming when they stopped announcing Floyd's PPV #'s

This might just be the beginning tho of SHO canceling their boxing programming straight up

The only thing I watch on SHO is boxing and Ray Donovan and Ray Donovan 2nd season is almost over

                  Me too

These prospects are the ones trying to build in this sport and if they arent that good then fine they are still the ones who will go on to fight the superstars or blue-chip prospects. ATG, HOF, up to today, fighters have their records filled with these type of guys. Shobox at least we got to see these guys before and can get somewhat excited for the future matches.

Im a fan of the sport and in a perfect world superstar will fight superstar every fight but we dont live in one. Ill take more over less of this sport anyday

How can they move a "Friday" fight night to Saturday? Looks like the Glaser guy might be right.

Put showbox on empty sats instead of Fridays. I looked at glasers twitter the last few days all he does is bad talk Espinoza and Floyd's ppv numbers. When he says PAC Algeri does 200k I'm sure more people won't take his word for gospel
