He's wrong, as usual. We've never even discussed canceling ShoBox. "@jesse_gallegos: Glaser reporting that Shobox is going to be cancelled."
I dont know. Glaser has been batting 500 with his predictions thus far.

He called Shaefer getting axed before it was announced

He called Canelo moving over to HBO before it was officially announced.

Glaser has some inside source over at Showtime/gbp. I think its Oscar.

Paying Garcia and Santa Cruz $750,000 each for fighting Salka and a former sparring parter is just so damn ******. I don't know what Espinoza is thinking. Of course, they would want millions to fight in competitive matches, which resultls in bankruptcy. It's plain common sense. You don't have to be a financial adviser to know this.

The Floyd financial expert stans were right- the 'loss leading' strategy has been paying huge dividends for Showtime.

i wouldn't. i don't have enough room in my brain to remember all of the bad boxing matches i've watched. ive seen plenty of bad boxing, and would much rather leave my house.

it's wasting years of your life, staying in on a friday for a garbage fight card. you only get so many friday and saturday nights when you are young. the fights will still be there in the morning if you DVR them.

showbox is a glorified means of padding the records of prospects. rarely are they matched tough, and the prospects aren't usually very good to begin with. it sucks.

Agreed. However regular Showtime cards have been Shobox quality this year, which is most likely going to remain the case so what's the point of having 2 Shoboxes?

I agree! Its rare when we even get GOOD boxing. I can do without more bad boxing.

                      of the sport.

I dont get how none of you can see this is hurting us the fans.

We will be down to 1 fight per month on 1 channel and then you all will complain about that but go on thinking this is a good thing
