If this is the case. For the first time, the mainstream will have a legitimate Point that boxing is dying. Because Nelo doesn't have the talent to carry the sport. His peak is being a poorman's DLH.

Why do folks keep calling Canelo a cash cow? Dude's numbers have been pretty mediocre barring the Floyd fight.

Being called out by everyone around his division even though he holds no belts pretty much proves he brings the dough.

He fought Mayweather out of a love for money... and got schooled. He fought Lara and Trout for pride but let's not act like he walked through em. I love Canelo's drive and push for tough opponents, but I only give credit to opponents faced, not being talked about. If he fights GGG he gets credit but a lot less if he loses. Legacies aren't made by "making" tough fights...they're made by winning tough fights.

Fair enough. But if you're only going to give it a fighter credit for opponents he's fought and not being mentioned. I don't see how you can give GGG too much credit. Now before you say he hasn't faced the top dogs in the division because everyone is Ducking him. Remember, he had his chance to face not just a great fighter in Ward but the second best fighter in the world and opted no to fight him Not only did they call ward out the called out everyone from 154lbs to 175lbs. And as soon as SOG called their bluff, team Golovkin backed down and said they weren't ready.(that excuse goes out the window) So basically they were name dropping. Again, who has Golovkin fought? And where is all this so called credit for GGG coming from?(I'm not saying he's not a good fighter because he obviously is)
