Furthermore, why the hell would GGG move up to SMW when he's still comfortable at MW and there are now a bunch of interesting and lucrative match ups available for him at that weight class? Rational thinking helps you understand certain situations.
Certain people are shook by GGG, nothing more to it.

He fought Mayweather out of a love for money... and got schooled. He fought Lara and Trout for pride but let's not act like he walked through em. I love Canelo's drive and push for tough opponents, but I only give credit to opponents faced, not being talked about. If he fights GGG he gets credit but a lot less if he loses. Legacies aren't made by "making" tough fights...they're made by winning tough fights.

What! How can you guys give Canelo credit for 'not ducking anyone' just because he just advertise Golovkins name. Look how long he ducked Lara before he had to fight him. Now fighting a washed up Clottey who had only 3 fights in past 5years. Look how long PAC & Floyd mentioned each others name. No fight. Talk is cheap. Show me the knuckles!

If I have to fight him.

Why can't it be,"I want GGG"!

When PAC was fighting at 122 Merchant asked PAC if he wanted Ayala or maybe test some of the 126 guys out. PAC straight out told Merchant,"I want Barerra"!

No way team Canelo lets him headline a PPV in May against GGG. Probably one of the few things that would be disastrous in his HBO return is getting blitzed in 3-4 rounds, which is something GGG has a habit of doing.

This fight won't happen until september '15 or May '16
Cotto in May 2015.. Possibly Chavez in September...then GGG..seems like a good plan and lots of $$$ for Canelo...

                      Seems pretty straightforward here..

"It's a possibility. There are two guys there [Golovkin and Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.] that would be good fights. I'm willing to fight anybody," Canelo said.

It was very good sparring. He's a very strong fighter, very strong. We helped each other out and what can I say about him....he's a very good fighter and he's a nice person as well. He's a very nice person but this is a sport, this is a business - and if I have to fight him - no problem," Canelo said.
