In all these years was Leonard being trained as to the duties, and ins and outs of being a CEO? Sometimes people can be selfish about training other people because those people can be their replacements. If Schafaer steps in and is hired by Floyd for Mayweather Promotions Floyd has to make sure Richard is training a replacement, which is a touchy situation.
