When are people going to realize that Floyd doesn't give a crap about anybody but himself. He keeps a good supply of scapegoats/yes-men on the payroll just in case something with TMT goes wrong and he has someone to blame. Mayweather has no idea how to manage a business where other people deserve some semblance of respect and/or attention. It's just not in his genetic makeup. If you are not constantly stroking Floyd's fevered ego and making him look smart, you are of no use and must be eliminated from the picture. Jeff Mayweather should go crawl back under the rock he came from or go smoke some rocks with his bro. He is a nobody trying to be a somebody by association.

This is how the Schafer situation started. Would be surprised if it ended the same way in some respects.

lol I'm sure you can nitpick any mistake if you want to fire someone. I'm not saying Ellerbe is better CEO than Schaefer. But the excuses are lame. It's like Ellerbe did a thousand things right but you only focused on what you perceived he did wrong coz you want to fire him.

You're not fooling me either with your super ignorance! Why would the 154 belt be up for grabs when Maidana has never fought at that weight class? Nor does he intend to .

It was probably Haymon but Ellerbe took the hit. His credibility as a CEO is lost.

"During a stay in Vegas me and my mate got a cab from the strip to the gym (less than 10 mins away in Chinatown).

The staff were again friendly and the gym was very busy but no one of note. They were happy for us to sit, take photos and watch people train and spar and said Floyd Snr, Roger and Jeff Mayweather may be in in 30-45 mins. We were pretty hanging so we were happy to delay drinking for the day and wait around.

Whilst we were waiting Joseph Agbejo and Mickey Bey came in. Agbreko to train and Bey to see everyone after he won his world title on the Mayweather/Maidana undercard. To be honest I didn't recognise Bey and he sat right next to me and I didn't realise until people started coming up to him!

I didn't speak to him but whilst sitting next to him I heard some interesting things.

Firstly he said he was negotiating to fight Figueroa. The next bit is more interesting. He got talking to the other guys about Leonard Ellerbe.

In short, Bey said the key reason Mayweather parted with Ellerbe was that Ellerbe was undercutting Mayweather's fighters which Floyd was angry about. He said that a lot of the fighters were getting as an example 3x less than what Ellerbe was making on top of what he should rightfully get.

He was talking at length but it sounded like Ellerbe was getting greedy and was the main reason for the split. My hotel didn't have wifi so I didn't even know about the split until he said it"
                    Interesting. I wonder if true.

I can also see the "Leonard just followed what Richard did" story true too.

And on many occasions you have gone great lengths to detail Lenny's 'role' as CEO and talk up his business acumen. We tried to tell you he was just a nipple rubber, but no, you wouldnt have it. He was a genuine CEO running a genuine organisation.....Then team floyd says...'Na, na man, that was fakes and fo da cameras and stuff' and '(roger) Lenny didnt really do much of anything'. Hard times, sad days, still bet you are still flomming away with the best of them!
