Are we headed for more counterprogramming on a Mexican holiday weekend?

There's precedent. When Canelo Alvarez fought Josesito Lopez on Mexican Independence Day weekend in 2012 (on Showtime), Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. competed against Sergio Martinez down the block on HBO PPV.

Now, there could be competition for the coveted Cinco De Mayo weekend slot in 2015.

That's what I'm talking about Oski!!! **** Mayweather. He should fight the July forth weekend and stop trying to make money off of the Mexicans. He's always cried about not getting Americas support. Fighting on its Holliday weekend would do him some good. UFC always does a fight that weekend too though so he might have to bump them out that spot.
