Go to BOXREC and see who those guys were fighting at 37, if they were fighting. Oscar took it to a new level, but he wasn't relevant at 37 either, but he was still doing major things in the game. Mayweather has just dominated the game in and out the ring like no other. He should put all his focus into being a better promoter, and maybe doing things that haven't been done before:

It was rumored that Al Haymon, a boxing powerbroker with at least 40 high-profile prizefighters under his wing, has initiated plans to start his own television network that will feature his fighters like Lucas Matthysse, Robert Guerrero, Keith Thurman, Chris Pearson and others. The company has previously depended on Golden Boy to televise its fighters but now seeks to go on its own.

Now that's big! If I'm Floyd, that's where I'm trying to be! **** Bob Arum!
Not surprised about the haymon part. Ive said it before too that al haymon, schafer and FMP are eventually gonna work together.

Do you really believe Floyd would ever fight in the UK and risk getting robbed.
And that's the only way a Khan fight would be worth doing on cinco de mayo. If Canelo vs Cotto gets made.

Oh Canelo is one of my favourite fighter it would be really good if he woudn't say this simple ass running shit again...
It's okay when it comes from Provodnikov or Rios because everyone knows that they are simple guys who can't understand what the opponent does when he doesn't trade punches with them but I think Canelo shouldn't run with this "running" talk...
It's pretty awkward to hear from a high level boxer.

lmao whats funny is the same people saying that floud fought that way because his legs were gone are now whining about him running. i knew this would happen. still funny regardless. hahahaha. as far as canelo? hes a funny guy, but hes nowhere near as good as he thinks he is, cant wait for golovkin to get a shot at him and shut him up. probably wont happen, but one can dream.

Can't understand what the opponent does when he doesn't trade punches with them? Sounds like a pretty accurate description of Canelo.

Look how lost he was against Lara and Floyd.

What he should've done is demanded a rematch @ 154 for Cinco de Mayo. Instead he's going after Cotto. Cotto is not a bad opponent, but Mayweather has already beat him too. Mayweather should be target #1, for a) he beat that ass already, b) you broke the record for revenue with Mayweather.

Now that Maidana is done with Mayweather, let's see how many people (who thought he was a weak opponent) call him out to fight him.
Actually Devon Alexander who already schooled Maidana called him out after the first Floyd fight and offered him a rematch. Alexander would beat him again.

i disagree, he did what he needed to do.

Risk taking should be adapted to a particular opponent.

Maidana is unskilled, slowfooted with no defense. There is no need to take risks in defeating someone like that.

On the other hand, when you have a fight between Marquez and Pacquiao, both men must take risks in order to win the fight, because they have no choice if they want to win.
