I guess it all depends on who the source is. If Dan got it from Espinoza then of course Dan is going to report what Espinoza told him it was. I'm curious as to who is Rick's source.

I had no opinion of Espinoza up until he reported that Floyd/Guerrero did over 1mil buys when every other source out there had it MUCH less. He just has a shady demeanor about him.

Dan did not. His source said high 800's and that it exceeded the 1st one. Only Mannix at SI and Iole at Yahoo went with the 925k (Houggio posted both here) Dan said 925k was a bad prediction because the numbers from the biggest cable companies weren't in yet.

Espinoza is a lawyer so you have to pay careful attention to how he words things because he uses "lawyerspeak". I agree with you that he is not to be trusted. Glazer isn't exactly an honest source either.

As to your response to NE-Glazer is trying to establish himself as the preeminent source on boxing. he is quick to discount what Iole puts out every time because he seems perturbed that Iole gets info before him.
