Why do Pacquiao's opponents get paid more money than Floyd's opponents?

Here is a purse breakdown of Floyd and Manny's most recent and upcoming opponent paydays:

Brandon Rios - $4 million guarantee
Timothy Bradley - $6 million guarantee
    Chris Algieri - $1.5 million
    Total $11.5 Million

Canelo Alvarez - $5 million guarantee
    Marcos Maidana 1 - $1.5 million guarantee
    Marcos Maidana 2 - $3 million guarantee
    Total $9.5 million

It's interesting that Chris Algieri is getting paid just as much as Maidana got paid for his first fight with Mayweather. Even more interesting is that Rios earned more for his fight than Maidana earned in the rematch.

Also worth noting is that Cotto earned $12 million vs Pacquiao and $8 million vs Mayweather. Does anybody know why Pacquiao's opponents get paid more?

That still doesn't explain why Pacquiao opponent's who are arguably less popular and less marketable earn more money

Floyd takes probably 95%of a huge purse, while manny takes only 60 or 70% of a smaller purse.. That's what causes the difference...

Floyd is tight with the money because he can be... Manny's opponents are arum fighters so arum gonna make sure they get paid so he can get a cut, and also so he can use manny has a recruiting tool to sign fighters ie Bradley, Marquez, etc..

Because the fighters Pacquiao fights are also with Bob Arum, whereas Mayweather is not his opponent's promoter?

Because Pacquiao fights higher quality fighters and wants to give his opponents a nice payday. Pacquiao already makes more in endorsements than what his opponents get paid so theres no need to be greedy.

But it's still just as much as Maidana made for the first Mayweather fight. And why would Arum pay Pac's opponents more money so he can take a higher cut, when he can just pay them less?
