Notice how it's only fighters who don't know how to cut off the ring/brawlers and fans of those fighters who complain about clinching? Maybe if they learned a thing about proper movement they'd know how to get out of a pickle.
Example when Clinching is Unacceptable.

Just like this guy, i dont get it, theres no benefit in defending clinching as a tactic, explain how it clinching benefits the viewer.Comment

Benefits the viewer? Why should a fighter care about the viewer? He's fighting for his life out there, something you'll never understand.Comment
-
Simple, really. Clinching is unacceptable when the other guy does it. If your favourite fighter does the clinching, then it's a smart, perfectly acceptable tactic, a form of "inside work".
Personally I don't have a problem with clinching itself. What I do have a problem with is when a fighter clinches and stinks out the joint all the time, and then complains that fans don't like him.Comment

Seriously, Maidana lovers are getting out of hand lately. The amount of excuses they make for their hero's losses is just amazing. And they have the nerve to call Khan fans delusional.Comment

They should definately care about the viewer, thats why they sweat and ***** bricks over PPV numbers.
, how does clinching benefit you ? what do you get out of watching someone clinch.Comment
-
Who cares how it benefits me, I'm not the one fighting for my livelihood, the fighters are. Floyd could clinch 200 times and you'd still watch it and he'll still get paid 32,000,000 with PPV upside.Comment

I'm only cool with it (to certain extent) if the other guy is coming in head first all the time cuz his outside game sucks and can only fight on the inside. Using your head over and over is illegal too.Comment

You keep teeling me about Floyd,
but how does clinching benefit you?Comment
