    Kovalev if he stops Hopkins

    Hopkins if he beats kovalev

    If kovalev out points Hopkins:

    Pacquaio if he stops algeiri

If not, roman Gonzalez if he beats estrada

Francisco Rodriguez Jr if he gets another good name and fights one more time this year.

Not only did he give Merlito Sabillo his first loss but he ripped his belt as well. Less than 5 months later he goes on to unify the division in the potential Fight of the Year against Katsunari Takayama. That's a nice run for a 21 year and a great achievement regardless of the weightclass.

Other than him T. Crawford is the most likely candidate to win it, especially since the lowerweights are criminally slept on. Crawford has 2 big wins already and is trying to string one more with Beltran, great run for him this year.

Pacquiao is a laughable proposition. As is Kovalev. Beating a 50 year is expected out of a Crusher.

          Crawford
          Hopkins
          Gonzalez

Those are the only legitimate ones I've read so far.

                  Good call

Co-signing. Crawford has boxed really well and if he beats Beltran then he wins it even if Hopkins KO's Kovalev

Like someone said earlier, there isn't a stand out this year so far.

I don't even think Crawford should be anywhere near there either. Sure he beat Gamboa, the name Gamboa. You really have to see all the advantages he had against him.
