Ali was not in control of the fight. He could not properly fight Foreman at all after the 1st round.

His victory was a combination of his tenacity, ring IQ and durability to a point but to a much greater extent Foreman's ******ity and luck.

2nd one is not only false...

It's actually the most definite truth of all.

The Floyd ducking of Manny is the single biggest disgrace in all of boxing history.

Even worse than the Rid**** ducking of LEwis. Nobody, and I mean NOBODY of any sobriety would seriously dispute that!

Then in the next sentence they were razor close fights.

I completely agree on sweet pea but I'm curious about the mosley thing? Why don't you think he is skilled?

All mexican fighters are face first brawlers who block punches with their face. (In reality rolling with punches, head movement and inside fighting tend to be the name of the game)

Boxing off of the back foot is the only slick way of boxing. Even though getting on the inside is an art in itself.

Tyson was unstoppable in his prime and every loss doesn't count, even Douglas.

Joe Louis was a slow flat footed brawler

If you are flat footed then you have zero skill and can't achieve anything. (Guys like Margarito were able to cut off the ring and do pretty well)

Rigo was running from donaire (rigo landed more and damaged donaire. Nonito never cut off the ring and was afraid to throw)

Boxers who don't get hit are boring, even if they have a high ko percentage (ie, wlad or rigo)

"Protect yourself at all times." While this is true there are situations where the ref should have taken more measures (floyd against Ortiz and rigo's recent ko)

Roy Jones jr had the most skill out of ANY middleweight and up. While he had skills he relied too much on speed and reflexes.

Toney was too lazy to make weight at super middle. While his move to heavyweight was a sign of laziness his frame simply couldn't go down to super middle. He was around 200 pounds in high school.

Lennox was a weak heavyweight. He was actually a very skilled heavy who had a decent punch. Butthurt Tyson fans and vitali fans just hate him.

Because he suffered two stoppage defeats, Lennox Lewis had a weak chin.

Lewis got big shots from plenty of heavyweights without going down (Vitali and Briggs landed big on him and he fought though it, for example).

i'm hearing speculation that this thread is intended to distract from ariza-gate.

ariza is a drug cheat. he's now under contract with floyd mayweather.
