I'd put Wlad above Tyson and Holmes above Holyfield. Both are arguable, probably.
Greatest Heavyweights since Ali

"Easton Assassin" Larry Holmes is the best after Ali! (Joe Louis first)
I think Tyson and Holyfield and Lennox should be right in there together.
I also think that Bowe at his best is a problem for any heavyweight.
The later Foreman has to be mentioned but I think the youthful George was harder to handle.
Holmes once again lives in Ali's shadow but he really was an ATG heavy.

let's agree to disagree on the whole Foreman/Spinks thing lolI can definitely see your reasoning, but i think coupled with the fact that Holmes was nearing his end, despite him later making a semi-successful comeback I guess, and him only having a few fights and other than Holmes only beat Cooney, who never really wasn't that good, would put Foreman higher. I would even have to question whether I'd put Spinks in the top 10 actually - but I can definitely see your reasnoning. I think someone like Ruiz for example, as crap and boring as he was, actually has an equal and/or better resume at heavyweight than spinks + he has that many more fights. All in all, I don't really consider Spinks a great heavyweight at all - but of course was an absolutely tremendous light heavyweight.
I would maybe think about having Bowe above Vitali Klitschko too, simply because of his wins over a prime Holyfield.
But I see what you're saying about Bowe, that win over a prime Holyfield is exceptional but he never did more, I just wanted to see so much from this guy, who had size AND speed AND power but his lack...I dunno, psychological issues, maybe physical but they let him down in the end and I can't justify him being any higher tbh.
Holmes above Holy I can see BUT Wlad above Tyson, noway. Tyson has a better resume, was a fr more complete fighter in his prime and the most dynamic offensive fighter I think I've ever seen. Wlad is very very good though.
Bowe can't be above Wlad and Vitali, and how do Witherspoon and Mercer rank so high?Comment

Don't let George's great story fool you.. He always came up short vs top tier guys,,, he just happened to luck out vs moorer, who isn't on my list either..
Dude lost to Holyfield, Morrison, was getting thoroughly outboxed by moorer till the ko..
I don't think the version of foreman in his 40s beats an early-mid 80s Witherspoon, nor do I think he beats mercer in the mid 90s..
Foreman has the world title run, so he wins in the resume department, but I think overall mercer and especially Witherspoon would be too much for George in a fight..
I'm basing my list on pure talent, skills, h2h and not so much on resume.. Buster Douglas won the lineal title from Tyson but I'm not going to rank him higher than tua, a guy who never won a belt but was a better fighter than buster..
Bowe has much better wins than wlad or vitali, and he was more skilled.. For a big guy, he had a beautiful inside game, something which neither klitchko possesses. Plus his wins over Holyfield, especially the first one, are far superior to any klitchko win...
Witherspoon was incredibly talented that got derailed by drugs and don king.. I would take Witherspoon over guys like tua, Rahman, Ruiz, Byrd, spinks
Mercer was one of the best fighters never to win a world title..(I'm not including WBO, at the time the wbo was not a major organization yet) mercer had some ups and downs in his career but when he was in his game, he could beat anyoneComment
