If my memory serves me correct... Floyd-Oscar was $55 And this fight was $75.

That's a 36% increase in revenue per buy.

Which means if we put it on the same scale, Mayweather-Maidana pulled in around 1.258M PPV buys worth of revenue based on a $55 buy rate.

Your numbers don't account for the buyers who wouldn't spend the extra 20 dollars for the mayweather fight, which could have a dramatic impact on your calculation.

Let's wait for the actual numbers not the projected numbers... I'm expecting much lower numbers...

I also expect this to be the last Mayweather fight that actually sells unless he can get Pacquiao... I think this fight is the one that broke the camel's back..

There were empty seats, 50% less bets made on the fight but yet the fight sold more? Find that hard to believe, attendance and betting are a good indicator of how well something did.

I just dont get the "money man". Tha pac-floyd fight can bank way more than the de la hoya fight, even if its 55/45. Its, as of right now, the BIGGEST ppv fight that has not yet happened.

Back then the conversion was $1 dollar to 10.82 mexican pesos, now $1 dollar to $13.15 mexican pesos.
