I think I'm going to watch this for the first time since episode 2.

Having read Jim's comments, I don't see what people are criticising him for. He says Mayweather acting as an apologist for Rice was reprehensible. He's not wrong.

His wider points about Floyd are generally correct also, and are shared by the overwhelming majority of people who know who Floyd is.

Ray Rice was fired. Why does Jim Lampley still have a job?

And your video is misleading, Maidana WAS wearing punchers gloves. It wouldn't have made a difference either way, Maidana came in way to light to hurt Floyd he's nothing but a lightweight
Powerlock are not the same as mx gloves and if the gloves really didnt matter, why didnt floyd let him use the NSAC approved punchers glove?

Yeah they must be ignorant, getting 2-3 dozen emmys to Showtimes what, less than 10? Ratings dwarf Showtime, even in boxing. Revenue WAY dwarfs Showtime. And Showtime won't even release their numbers. Yeah, HBO dying, sure bub. HA!

It's always fun watching Jim Lampley with the alcoholic tremors trying hard to get a sentence out without sounding all emotional like he did when Cotto lost to Margarito.

Yeah the episode was a little hateful towards Mayweather, but the good news is Kovalev is now a top 10 P4P fighter according to HBO.

Thing is, Lampley is 100% right. Yes, years ago he had one domestic, admitted it, and never had one again. Floydie is a scum bag low-classed thug just like Roger... multiple domestic violence charges/incidents, too chicken to fight Pac, way boring ultra safety-first fighting style... and the list goes on. And if you actually think he's drawing in more potential boxing fans than he is driving away... you are delusional. I agree, Floydie retired will definitely help the sport. Skr-ooo Floydie and the horse he staggered in on.

I think it's pretty funny why you excuse Lampley but go in on Floyd and Roger. Grow some balls and say what you really want to say.
