When Floyd got a promoter's license in NY, I thought it would be Mayweather vs. Cotto 2. Trust me, it will be HUGE. I thought Canelo would jump at the chance to fight Cotto in 2014, but I guess the race for Cinco De Mayo is on full blast. If I were Mayweather, I would not compete with Cotto vs. Canelo, and I would choose a date like July 4th, and I would fight GGG. I know GGG is a threat to that "0," but no one could say **** about his choice of fighters. The only way I would choose anybody other than GGG, would be if Khan beat some credible WW. It could still be on 4th of July with the whole U.S. vs. England theme.
