What a w@nker!!! not sure how true this is but i could see it happening, i'm dying to read a good article about him, what a terrible role model, advertises weed on 24/7. One of the fakest most insecure people i know about, imagine he was poor lol, everything about the pr!ck is just image, he reminds me of a kid who cracks a terrible joke and looks to his friends to laugh, and his ****** friends laugh lol, grow up Floyd.

I do believe you've just made me rethink my whole position on the idea. Rather than it being even more mind numbingly tedious horse **** on boxing's very own he-said-she-said saga, a well researched book with accompanying documentary could serve a vital function.

It would act as a final condemnation. Rather than those involved spinning their webs of deceit, the concluding narrative on the debacle would be handed over to those who missed out; fans of the sport who just wanted to see the best fighters fight each other (Remember that notion!?! Seems archaic these days).

Boxing's like a hospital patient that constantly teeters on the verge of intensive care only to make a mesmeric recovery before slipping back into a critical condition. The sport needed that fight when it would have been a true super-fight. It wouldn't have just crossed over to fans of other sports it would have entered the consciousness of billions. It would have let the world beyond its confines know that boxing's still here and it still has the power to inspire and excite on a global level like few sports can.

Instead? Well. Meh. There we have it.

And for that, when we look back over both their careers, whilst acknowledging their achievements, which are plentiful and spectacular, we need to bear in mind what they did here. They let the fans down, but more than that, they let the sport down by refusing to fight each other when the sport needed them to lace up the gloves and do what boxers do.

So a 90 minute documentary aired after ever repeated Mayweather or Pacquiao fight would drill the message home quite nicely.

I am not that quite far into it but I see your point. After all these years I would just like to see some real true research on the matter rather than just hearing the same spin from both sides.

Plus it would serve a vital function because over time this will all fade probably not from the fans of this era but to those who come after they won't really know. So they can see how things really went with it.


Plus it would probably very interesting and have lots of moments where you would just shake your head.

There's a danger that it would be met with more spin, denials, claims and counter-claims by those involved slating the other side as well as the makers/authors and the fans of the respective boxers would continue to reduce the sport to a sordid little two candidate high school presidential popularity campaign.

We could end up feeling that we know less for knowing more. I hope you're right though (and surely this thing is already in the making. There's got to be plenty of boxing writers compiling notes on this one) and future generations of fans will know them not only for what they did do, but for what they didn't. And maybe future fighters will take heed and we wont have this situation arise again, where two fighters who normally come along once a generation came at the same time and refused to fight.

yah bradley beat an undefeated alexander and as a result unified the WBO and WBC titles before pac. he was also ranked top ten p4p (i think #7 at the time), and #1 at 140, undefeated, slick and prime.

and marquez was a very good win considering he was ranked #3 p4p, awarded fighter of the year 2012 by ring, coming off a HUGE KO upset win against pac. beating marquez rightfully elevated bradley to #3 p4p. so what if he struggled against provo? who hasn't? herrera (who beat #1 140 lb danny garcia but was robbed) struggled against provo.

and you're really lost if you think bradley is a hype job like broner hahahahahaha. beating bradley is by far a better win than beating slow moving limited no defense maidana, very green didn't beat anyone good overrated canelo, poop guerrero, poop ortiz who lost to josesito lopez and past prime collazo, etc.

truth is pac will have fought two undefeated and highly ranked fighters this year (bradley #3 p4p, and algieri #3 ranked jr welter) while floyd fought the same slow moving come forward #7 ranked brawler TWICE (struggled badly the first time hahaha).

So you agree that Bradley really won the first fight against Pacquiao, and the fight against Ruslan. It doesn't bother you that Ruslan had never fought @ 147, or that Marquez has never done anything @ 147. I guess that's where we differ. And now you also believe Algeri deserves a shot against Pacquiao. Algeri resume is worst than Broner's. Not only do you feel Algeri is worthy, you call Canelo overrated too! Given that I will be an old man at that point I don't know how much it would change my views though.

I assume they were tacking on fines and penalties but it looked like they were taxing him for more than he made. That is some gangster **** right there, "so you made $50 million last year well we want $55 million because we didn't quite tax you enough before"
