Just to make history and capture the middleweight crown? He'd be one of the few people in history to have held 3 different crowns at the same time.

If the Pacquiao fight can't be made in May, I'd want to see the Cotto fight again.

I'm not that interested but finically and for the belt it makes sense.

    Good chance it happens.

i'd rather see him fight someone new at welter or jr middle. not that interested in fighters cherry picking paper titles at catchweights.

It's really the only fight that interests me besides the Pacquiao fight, but only for the WBC MW title. Khan and Danny Garcia don't do much for me, I'd still watch but it would be more for extending his record, not the matchup.

I agree, I don't really think the weight will be a factor either, Mayweather would come in at 149-150 and Cotto probably at 155 or so.

I just think, if no Pacquiao - which is really kind of the only fight left for him at WW right now - then who? There's Amir Khan, Danny Garcia, Kell Brook & Keith Thurman left. Nether of those are really super fights. Or he could fight Andrade at 154 - but is that really going to interest anyone?

It makes sense in that is is a big fight, a historical accomplishment and Cotto is not a real middleweight.

Most people would over blow that angle of the fight though which makes the fight unappealing to me. If they were just going to have a fight (at whatever weight) to do a rematch I would be much cooler with it.
