One of the most blatantly biased performances from a ref I have ever seen. There is absolutely no point in watching a mayweather fight as the outcome has already been determined. You know, I thought it was funny when Kenny Bayless was announced as the referee for this fight; he went from the best referee in the business to someone that interferes too much.

It's as though people were backtracking to a point where they could feel comfortable using his performance to slate the outcome of the fight.

Obviously you never saw Dave Parris ref a Hatton fight. Seriously though, I though Bayless was terrible and should have allowed inside fighting. He was too quick to jump in and definitely should've warned Mayweather for his clinching leading to a point deduction.

The fight was affected more by Maidana and his team's strategy. It was wrong to stand off in the early rounds and this affected the fight more than Bayless' reffing.

He was horrible. He prevented Maidana's only chance to win rounds and was heavily biased towards Mayweather. His reputation took a huge hit in my eyes.

not a very exciting fight. Floyd seemed determined to spoil whenever maidana got in close and bayless was happy to let him do it. Maidana came in with the wrong strategy in general. His best shot was to jump on floyd right from the get go like he did in round 4 but he seemed determined to try to outbox floyd instead. imo Garcia gave him the wrong gameplan ... his advantage was being a bit wild, unpredictable and aggressive. Floyd basically set out to Wlad him. As I predicted he would do pre fight.

Maidana got discouraged. He wasn't allowed to do what he did in round 4 because Bayless was always breaking them up the second Maidana got close.

He played a part, but I think most ref's would have taken the same approach given all of the 'dirty tactics' talk leading up to the fight.

I don't think the outcome was altered, but the style of fight certainly was.

Its a relief that I'm not the only one who thought Kenny affected the outcome of this fight, a lot of Flowmos are making excuses up for it but truth is Floyd looked like an old man last night.
Now we can somewhat understand why he is scared of the likes of Khan and Pacquiao...
Too bad If he does have that Pacquiao fight it will be 6 years far too late and that is out of cowardice nothing to do with Pac not wanting it.
