Yeah he won easily but for some reason I didn't feel confidence in Mayweather like I did last fight when Mayweather fought in the clinches. He seemed more comfortable in the first fight unlike this fight, he seemed drained.

For two years I stopped caring about a fight with Pacquiao but I think it's time, it actually might be competitive and Floyd won't look fresh or leagues above him.

Fight in 2006-2008 and see if you can beat prime Margarito, Cotto, Williams or fight 2013-2015 and see if you can squeak by weak competition @ a much older age.

NO question he is slowing down but SADLY he is in a **** ERA of Boxing, not sure if many or any current fighters in boxing today that can exploit the fact that he is slowing down especially when he is using his leg which he clearly still has and I think in the 12th Round he wanted to show that he still has his legs

But YES I see decline and certain things he is just not sharp at anymore

Canelo fight was the last great performance from that man. It was a tremendous performance at that.

I reckon maybe that Mayweather, captured in time could have possibly been the greatest boxer but that guy is finished now.

I agree Larry. It was really surprising to see Maidana land so many jabs in the middle of the ring on FMJ. He also missed shots he would usually land.

Hopefully, he retires after this fight and saves his money (especially since he can't read).

He won tonight clearly and i think the scorecards were to close..but he did not look like the Floyd i know

One thing I appreciate about Larry is that he at least knows how to criticize his favorite fighter even though he's known as a hardcore Floyd fan on the forums.

Mayweather could never have handled a fighter like Maidana on the inside at any point in his career. He would always have had to hold or have the ref come in.

He is still sharp and fast when he lets his hands go, but he does get hit much more often now it seems. Not always flush, but Maidana was getting many little pieces of him all night.

Maidana's jab was on point when he threw it. If he would have doubled up on it and then came in he could have had a lot more success. If Floyd fights someone with a good jab from this point on he might be in a lot of trouble. His defensive reflexes have slowed down.
