Maidana's jab was on point when he threw it. If he would have doubled up on it and then came in he could have had a lot more success. If Floyd fights someone with a good jab from this point on he might be in a lot of trouble. His defensive reflexes have slowed down.
His defense was still good. Moving out of the way with his hand down a lot. But he def looked slower at times

True, the real shame is in not fighting the best opponents when he was in his prime.

Keep discounting him. I thought his legs were gone? How many of you posters said that over and over and over and over. I mean man up here.

Agreed Larry. You need to be commended for your unbiased review of Floyds performance. He without a doubt won tonight but will have a hell of a time dealing with a decent puncher with hand speed at this point.

              Against who? /teddyatlas

Regarding his legs, if he doesn't hold he gets consistently cornered on the ropes. His movement didn't look fluid anyway, so I don't think you can say they were wrong. Sergio can still move too.

Jose luis castillo would like a word with you

Also hes 38 and has had millions of injuries in his career of course he slowing down, he still made Marcos miss 80% if his punches. As far as him almost getting knocked out in that round, Maidana does have devastating power.

On another note I heard the whole ppv was garbage, especially Vasquez Bey

That punch at the end of the 3rd was a huge shot. I'm surprised he didn't drop. It affected his 4th round completely. Floyd made a careless mistake there. It looked like Maidana broke his nose too.

These next two fights will probably be Floyd's toughest yet (depending on opponent).
