Well he does have the worst fan base in all of sports. They literally have to convince themselves that their hero isn't afraid of Pacquiao. That's why they bring up incidents that occurred 5 years ago and think they're proving a "point".

Could have something to do with Pac fans staying in denial(some til this day) about the incidents from 5 years ago rather than just admitting the truth.

Some do, but most don't. I think most are dying to see the fight, because they believe that there is no way that any version of Pac beat Floyd. They just get sick of the hypocrisy that goes on around here. Many Pac fans will call Floyd "coward, duck, scared" and at the same time believe every word that comes out of Pac's mouth when it comes to the fight, even if it totally contradicts his actions.

i already said this a couple of days ago, televisa (mexican tv network) admitted that negotiations are taking place and is almost a done deal, televisa is business partner with golden boy so they have no reason to lie about this, they even said that there is going to be 2 fights one for each promoter ...

I want Floyd to fight Manny more than anything , but Manny ran away from every offer put to him , Manny is NOT the A side he is the b side and needs to accept the initial offers , he always wants more making some BS counter offer and then takes off and fights little people , done it his whole career , 50/50 is the best he could ever hope to get in the biggest fight in history and he ran away , Floyd doesnt have to come down to him , Arum can easily step aside for this fight , are Manny fans telling Arum to step out of the picture to let the fight happen .

It's because they've built a house of cards since then that they literally have to believe to maintain their bubble. The second they admit Manny running from a PED test was Manny's fault, everything they've argued for like 5 years comes tumbling down. Think of the mental ramifications of it, it means the most important person/athlete/inspiration to them ran away from the biggest fight of his life because he couldn't be who he was and still pass more stringent testing protocols.
