Blame the marinate king Bob Arum ! - perfect advise for Peter Quillin, I just saw an interview with him discussing why he left 1.4 mil on the table and what are his plans? Quillin was given the wrong advise, he said he was told to enjoy his newborn daughter, and he has no clue what's next for him, sad because he was the most irrelevant champ at 160 - fought no name bums for decent pay days, now he is due to fight a good fighter for a career high payday but with a new promotional outfit and his advisor / manager advises him to vacate the title he fought hard to get and what made him relevant - WTF is going on...I mean it will take Quillin possibly 3 - 4 fights to get that $ back - Man beyond frustrating - then he tries to discredit GGG, now I am not one of the "Good Boys", but GGG stays active and he wants to fight the best outside Andre Ward - lol, but don't try to drag GGG under the bus for your ****** agenda having teams mistakes...we shall see

still though, the opportunity was there. if juanma just pressed it and stopped pretending for a minute that he was the pr version of mayweather, i think it would have happened. they could have promoted that fight magnificently, instead they both bowed out of the top w/out having THAT ONE fight. like you say, it's sad.
