Who would be an acceptable fight for Broner if the Matthysse fight doesn't happen for any number of reasons like Garcia agreeing to rematch Matthysse, Broner backs out, etc.

Being heavier in weight doesn't necessarily make you stronger. And matthysse using boxing ability? Lets see him throw a jab without throwing himself off balance. He no boxer. He is a power punching brawler. Js.

That's a good fight. I don't think Mattysse has as good of a beard as most think. Could be very entertaining but I like Broner to get stopped of it happens.

And Broner's power, well, do we really need to discuss his power? Where has it been?

Broner will end up like J'Leon Love in this fight. At least Love was about to throw a punch when he got clipped. Broner doesn't throw any when he's on the ropes.

Matthysse will keep coming and not stop. He actually has a motor unlike Maidana. Broner had success here and there cause of Maidana's stamina.

This is the fight I wanna see! Broner comes to fight no matter how much of a clown he is. Lucas is a slugger and I think he would put it on AB. I wanna see it though.

This would be a great fight, i think it would be a close one with the edge probably for mat. imo it goes the distance but broner gets dropped once or twice on the way.

Matthysse would KO Broner with a left hook, but he shouldn't be searching for the KO like he was against Garcia and Molina. He should just let it happen naturally and try to outwork Broner.

The danger with Matthysse is that a lot of the time he just doesn't let his hands go as much as he should. He's almost too patient. That's the difference between him and Maidana.

Chino's boxing is actually a lot more crude than Matthysse's, but he's more willing to take what's available than Lucas is. He doesn't hang around. I think for Matthysse, hanging around in front of Broner would be a bad idea. Matthysse has done well against fast fighters before, but he hasn't faced anyone who puts his shots together as well as Broner does, if you give him the opportunity.

That's an interesting parallel between Lucas and Broner actually. I don't think either guy's style fully capitalises on their ability. Lucas, with his low centre of gravity, power, and chin would be more effective if he threw with more volume and forced his opponent to work more.

Similarly, Broner's handspeed and combination punching would be better used if he fought in an offensive posture instead of trying to be a counter-puncher he doesn't have the instincts to be.

I read today his dad wants him to fight Algeri. I'd take that. Also Peterson or Garcia.

Ideally some combo of Broner, Matthysse, Garcia and Peterson fight each other next.
