It's amazing how these idiots have been convinced that a $40m flat fee was a great offer
Floyd could literally offer Pacquaio a happy meal and you'd find the same idiots in here trying to justify it.

If you think Manny deserves more, you can have that opinion. Just don't over exaggerate something like "stature" when the numbers show his "stature" was properly respected.

Arum never claimed he never talked Mayweather and his team. He talked to high level HBO and CBS executives to get rid of the showtme/HBO barrier.

He won the first fight 7-5. 115-113. WHY fight Maidana again when this isn't what you do? Because he knows Maidana cannot fight any better!!!!!!!!!!!! He is stalling until his contract is up. He's too rich for his own good, man. He's a true coward.

And why did Floyd ask for 20m for the Oscar fight back then? Wasn't his career high many times lower?

I don't think there has ever been a situation where a very reasonable and fair deal was refused and the subsequent offer was better.
Floyd seems to be trying to make up for money he feels he "lost" in the ODH fight and make Manny pay for refusing the 1st fight. At this point let it go, throw him some ppv revenue, and make manny decide if he wants to fight or refuse yet again,

Floyd took a risk fighting Cotto @ 154, and Canelo @ 152. He fought Oscar @ 154. He beat Hatton and Mosely before Manny. Just look at their last 5 opponents. You can't criticize Maidana (Who had the WBA WW Title) then go fight Chris Algeri.
